My experiences have harmoniously brought me to the work I do today. Since 2016, I have coached hundreds of individuals in career transition. I am currently in hot pursuit of the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, considered to be the gold standard of coaching certifications accredited through the International Federation of Coaching, https://coachfederation.org/. I graduated cum laude from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Finance emphasis.
I began my career working for a Fortune 50 company for 10+ years within operations, marketing, and technology product management. I loved the people, the organization, and the instrumental learning opportunities. When the business segment was acquired in 2009, I had a grand opportunity to continue on the same path or take a chance on something new. As a cautious individual who values security, I surprisingly chose the new adventure. I realized much later how this choice instinctively aligned with my own incessant, curious nature (good and bad). The conflict is real.
For the following 7 years, I had the fortune of working as an Executive Recruiter for a boutique retained search firm specializing in hard-to-fill roles within the aerospace & defense, natural resources, and financial services industries. I discovered how much I enjoyed talking with people about their own career choices: the twists, the turns, the pitfalls, the joys.
Ultimately, I fell in love with the stories and the intimate view of why we make the choices we do along the way. It just so happened to conveniently lead me here. In a sense, I haven’t traveled far from my roots of marketing and product development; my product just happens to now be in human form.
I am humbled by this journey and grateful to so many who have confided their dreams and fears so I may guide them to their fullest potential. Curiosity is a mysterious and wonderful thing!
